Distribution & Logistics Supervisor

Agrico, a leading manufacturer of irrigation solutions and components, is looking for a proactive and experienced Distribution Logistics Scheduler/Supervisor to join our team. If you are passionate about quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainable agriculture, this is the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-manage a team of 25, fostering effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Assist in developing and scheduling logistics strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee stock control, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Maintain a strong customer-centric focus, promptly addressing any concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Be available for weekend work as needed to meet operational demands.

Job requirements

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in a factory or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organization, from general workers to senior management.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
  • Residence in the Northern Suburbs is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in IT/ERP systems, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Excel.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to improving distribution operations.

Qualifications:

  • Matric qualification, with additional studies in a related field preferred.
