Agrico is looking for a motivated individual with a passion for agriculture and irrigation, to join our team in KwaZulu-Natal as an Irrigation Designer. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design and deliver customised irrigation solutions, including centre pivots, drip and micro-irrigation systems. Your expertise will help ensure efficient and optimal irrigation for our valued clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the region.
- Conduct site surveys and design bespoke irrigation systems tailored to client needs.
- Prepare quotes, bills of quantities, and design drawings.
- Manage projects from initial design through to commissioning and provide after-sales support.
Job requirements
- Sales experience and a keen interest in the agricultural sector.
- A solid understanding of agriculture and irrigation systems (technical training will be provided).
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English (preferably also in Afrikaans).
- Willingness to travel for client visits and project requirements.
- A valid Code 08 driver’s licence and access to own transport.
- Matriculation certificate with Mathematics as subject.
- Experience or training in irrigation design will be an advantage.
- Model Maker or IrriMaker experience will be an advantage.
