Job description
Agrico is looking for a dynamic Regional Manager to oversee our operations in the KwaZulu-Natal region. You will be responsible for driving growth and expanding Agrico’s market share by providing strong, strategic leadership across all branches in the region. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing logistics, inventory management, financial performance, and marketing efforts to achieve growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales: Initiate growth and identify new business opportunities. Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, and offering suitable solutions.
- Management: Manage the daily branch operations, including administration, logistics, and finances, while fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
- Technical knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products, particularly in irrigation, to effectively advise and support customers. Lead and support irrigation designers with your agricultural or technical knowledge.
- Customer care: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing guidance on irrigation needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the various sales, design and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience.
Job requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience in a managerial role, preferably in the agricultural or irrigation industry.
- A good understanding of agricultural practices or irrigation systems. Irrigation design expertise will be advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (Afrikaans would be an advantage).
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.
