Job description
Agrico is seeking a passionate and skilled Irrigation Designer to join our team in Ceres. If you have a love for agriculture, a talent for design, and a drive to create efficient irrigation systems, this role is for you.
As an Irrigation Designer, you’ll work closely with clients to design and deliver customised irrigation solutions—including centre pivots, drip, and micro-irrigation systems. Your technical expertise and commitment to quality will help ensure optimal irrigation performance for our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Client development: Identify, engage, and build lasting relationships with new and existing clients.

Site surveying: Conduct on-site assessments and gather data for accurate system design.

Irrigation system design: Prepare professional designs, quotes, and bills of quantities using tools such as Model Maker or AutoCAD.

Project management: Manage irrigation projects from concept through to commissioning, including after-sales support and follow-up service.

Collaboration: Work closely with Agrico’s sales and technical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Job requirements

Minimum 2 years of sales experience.

Valid Code 08 driver’s licence and own transport.

Experience with Model Maker or AutoCAD (advantageous).

Matric certificate with Mathematics as a subject.

An Agricultural or Engineering Degree/Diploma (advantageous).

Completion of SABI courses (advantageous).

Proficiency in English and Afrikaans with excellent communication skills.

Honest, diligent, and hardworking.

Willingness to travel and work overtime when required.
