Job description
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team and support the installation, maintenance, and repair of our existing and new turnkey irrigation systems.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical components of irrigation systems including DB boards, pumps, motors, control panels,fittings and wiring.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues and performing necessary repairs to ensure the smooth operation of irrigation systems.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical components.
- Collaborating with the installation team to ensure systems are set up correctly and efficiently.
- Ensuring all work complies with electrical and mechanical codes and safety standards.
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients regarding the electrical and mechanical aspects of their irrigation systems.
- Keeping detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Staying updated with the latest industry practices and technologies to ensure the best service.
Job requirements
- Proven experience as a Millwright, preferably in the agricultural, irrigation industry.
- Valid Millwright license/certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical & mechanical systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and their electrical components is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
