Job description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Social Media & Digital Marketing specialist to drive brand presence across multiple online channels for Agrico. The ideal candidate thrives in the digital space, understands platform-specific behaviours, and can confidently create and execute strategies that help to grow the brand.
What will you do at Agrico?
Through effective digital marketing we have the opportunity to reach wider audiences, and inspire even more growers. We are looking for someone who can confidently handle the following key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across key platforms.
- Create engaging content (copy, images, videos, reels, etc.) aligned with the Agrico brand.
- Plan, schedule and publish content across all platforms.
- Monitor and manage online communities, responding to comments and messages.
- Run and optimise paid media campaigns across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn.
- Analyse and report on performance, and provide recommendations based on digital trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support and drive campaigns forward.
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or valuable professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field.
- Proven ability to create content, grow audiences and drive conversions.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with excellent proficiency in both Afrikaans and English (non-negotiable).
- Experience running paid campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other platforms.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g. Later), analytical tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and other management tools (Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, etc).
- Ability to meet deadlines and work at a fast pace.
- Creative, self-motivated and able to create and execute ideas.
- Team-player, good communicator, and willing to assist with other tasks when needed.
- Willing to travel for work for content-creation purposes.
- An interest or background in agriculture and / or science will be beneficial.
