Job description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Welder to join our team at Agrico Bellville. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components used in our agricultural equipment. The role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and arc welding on various types of metals.
- Assemble and fabricate metal components according to technical drawings.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces for durability and accuracy.
- Maintain and repair welding equipment and machinery.
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
Job requirements
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Certification in welding or a relevant technical field is an advantage.
